Bug#477907: marked as done (sqlrelay: adjust build-dependency (gcj not built on alpha, arm, hppa and hurd-i386))
Your message dated Tue, 29 Apr 2008 06:32:16 + with message-id <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> and subject line Bug#477907: fixed in sqlrelay 1:0.39.4-3 has caused the Debian Bug report #477907, regarding sqlrelay: adjust build-dependency (gcj not built on alpha, arm, hppa and hurd-i386) to be marked as done. This means that you claim that the problem has been dealt with. If this is not the case it is now your responsibility to reopen the Bug report if necessary, and/or fix the problem forthwith. (NB: If you are a system administrator and have no idea what this message is talking about, this may indicate a serious mail system misconfiguration somewhere. Please contact [EMAIL PROTECTED] immediately.) -- 477907: http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=477907 Debian Bug Tracking System Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED] with problems --- Begin Message --- Package: sqlrelay Version: 1:0.39.4-1 Severity: serious User: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Usertags: gcj-bd gij/gcj and java-gcj-compat are not available (anymore) on the following architectures: alpha, arm, hppa and hurd-i386. This package has been identified as a package which build-depends on gcj or java-gcj-compat-dev and builds at least one architecture dependent package, and is unbuildable in unstable. If this report is a false positive, please close it. All gcj related build dependencies have to restricted to these architectures on which a java or java compatible development kit / compiler is available, i.e. java-gcj-compat [!alpha !arm !hppa !hurd-i386] As a second step please consider changing the java-gcj-compat-dev b-d to default-jdk-builddep, making the package independent of a specific implementation and depend on the jdk, which is most suitable for this architecture. default-jdk-builddep will depend in addition on java-gcj-compat-dev, even if the default jdk is another one (to allow to compile byte-code to native code using dh_nativejava). A package build-depending on default-jdk-builddep should use as JAVA_HOME /usr/lib/jvm/default-java, or as path for the tools /usr/lib/jvm/default-java/bin. If the package builds just architecture dependent binaries which contain only byte-code compiled to native code (packages which often end with "-gcj"), then the architecture restrictions on the build dependency may not be needed (however the package cannot be built anymore on those archs). In this case make sure that the binary packages get removed on these architectures. Please check the influence of a package upload on ongoing transitions before an upload. --- End Message --- --- Begin Message --- Source: sqlrelay Source-Version: 1:0.39.4-3 We believe that the bug you reported is fixed in the latest version of sqlrelay, which is due to be installed in the Debian FTP archive: libdbd-sqlrelay-perl_0.39.4-3_all.deb to pool/main/s/sqlrelay/libdbd-sqlrelay-perl_0.39.4-3_all.deb libfirstworks-sqlr-perl_0.39.4-3_amd64.deb to pool/main/s/sqlrelay/libfirstworks-sqlr-perl_0.39.4-3_amd64.deb libsqlrelay-0.39_0.39.4-3_amd64.deb to pool/main/s/sqlrelay/libsqlrelay-0.39_0.39.4-3_amd64.deb libsqlrelay-java_0.39.4-3_amd64.deb to pool/main/s/sqlrelay/libsqlrelay-java_0.39.4-3_amd64.deb libsqlrelay-ruby_0.39.4-3_amd64.deb to pool/main/s/sqlrelay/libsqlrelay-ruby_0.39.4-3_amd64.deb libsqlrelay-tcl_0.39.4-3_amd64.deb to pool/main/s/sqlrelay/libsqlrelay-tcl_0.39.4-3_amd64.deb php5-sqlrelay_0.39.4-3_amd64.deb to pool/main/s/sqlrelay/php5-sqlrelay_0.39.4-3_amd64.deb python-sqlrelay_0.39.4-3_amd64.deb to pool/main/s/sqlrelay/python-sqlrelay_0.39.4-3_amd64.deb sqlrelay-config-gtk_0.39.4-3_amd64.deb to pool/main/s/sqlrelay/sqlrelay-config-gtk_0.39.4-3_amd64.deb sqlrelay-dev_0.39.4-3_amd64.deb to pool/main/s/sqlrelay/sqlrelay-dev_0.39.4-3_amd64.deb sqlrelay-doc_0.39.4-3_all.deb to pool/main/s/sqlrelay/sqlrelay-doc_0.39.4-3_all.deb sqlrelay-freetds_0.39.4-3_amd64.deb to pool/main/s/sqlrelay/sqlrelay-freetds_0.39.4-3_amd64.deb sqlrelay-mdb_0.39.4-3_amd64.deb to pool/main/s/sqlrelay/sqlrelay-mdb_0.39.4-3_amd64.deb sqlrelay-mysql_0.39.4-3_amd64.deb to pool/main/s/sqlrelay/sqlrelay-mysql_0.39.4-3_amd64.deb sqlrelay-odbc_0.39.4-3_amd64.deb to pool/main/s/sqlrelay/sqlrelay-odbc_0.39.4-3_amd64.deb sqlrelay-postgresql_0.39.4-3_amd64.deb to pool/main/s/sqlrelay/sqlrelay-postgresql_0.39.4-3_amd64.deb sqlrelay-sqlite_0.39.4-3_amd64.deb to pool/main/s/sqlrelay/sqlrelay-sqlite_0.39.4-3_amd64.deb sqlrelay_0.39.4-3.diff.gz to pool/main/s/sqlrelay/sqlrelay_0.39.4-3.diff.gz sqlrelay_0.39.4-3.dsc to pool/main/s/sqlrelay/sqlrelay_0.39.4-3.dsc sqlrelay_0.39.4-3_amd64.deb to pool/main/s/sqlrelay/sqlrelay_0.39.4-3_amd64.deb zope-sqlrelayda_0.39.4-3_all.deb to pool/main/s/sqlrelay/zope-sqlrelayda_0.39.4-3_all.deb A summary of the changes between this version and the previous one is attached. List of packages below. For Debian, I test built klamav against the new clamav and it FTBFS. Fedora had a patch that at least lets it build. For Ubuntu I also built all the others that exist in Ubuntu (all less clamcour and sylpheed-claws) and they all FTBFS, so I expect they'll all need patching due to the changes in clamav. The errors were all similar to: error: 'struct cl_limits' has no member named 'maxratio' I can provide links to Ubuntu i386 or amd64 build logs if anyone is interested. The Fedora patch for klamav can be found at: http://sourceforge.net/tracker/download.php?group_id=102171&atid=631226&file_id=276298&aid=1954269 if anyone wants it for reference. Since Fedora 9 is close to release with clamav 0.93, I'd expect they have patches for other packages that they support, but I only looked at klamav Scott K > > Cheers, > > Frederik Dannemare <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> >clamcour > > Jonas Genannt <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> >php-clamavlib > > Christoph Berg <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> >avscan > > Cédric Delfosse <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> >python-clamav > > Jonas Genannt <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> >php-clamavlib > > Debian QA Group <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> >sylpheed-claws > > Scott Kitterman <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> >klamav > > Bart Martens <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> >gurlchecker > > Rene Mayrhofer <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> >havp > > Alexander Wirt <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> >dansguardian pgpnFxr9aHPn3.pgp Description: PGP signature

Bug#476779: fixed
We believe that the bug you reported is now fixed; the following package(s) have been removed from unstable: dep.pl | 1.36.0-6 | source, all Note that the package(s) have simply been removed from the tag database and may (or may not) still be in the pool; this is not a bug. The package(s) will be physically removed automatically when no suite references them (and in the case of source, when no binary references it). Please also remember that the changes have been done on the master archive (ftp-master.debian.org) and will not propagate to any mirrors (ftp.debian.org included) until the next cron.daily run at the earliest. Packages are never removed from testing by hand. Testing tracks unstable and will automatically remove packages which were removed from unstable when removing them from testing causes no dependency problems. Bugs which have been reported against this package are not automatically removed from the Bug Tracking System. Please check all open bugs and close them or re-assign them to another package if the removed package was superseded by another one. Thank you for reporting the bug, which will now be closed.
