Package: saods9
Version: 4.0b7-2
Severity: serious

Hi,

Your package is failing to build with the following error:
g++ -Wall -g -O2 -DHAVE_SYS_UN_H -DHAVE_SYS_SHM_H -D_LARGEFILE64_SOURCE
-D_FILE_OFFSET_BITS=64 -I/usr/include/tcl8.4 -o ds9 ds9.o ds9tk.o
/usr/lib/Tktable2.9/libTktable2.9.so -lz -lBLT -ltk8.4 -ltcl8.4 -L../lib
-lsaotk -ltkhtml -ltkmpeg -lsla -liis -lcheckdns -lxpa -lcheckdns
-lgfortran
/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lgfortran
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status

There are also various warnings, including things like:
makeheaders.c:1990: warning: cast from pointer to integer of different size

You might want to look at that since it can cause problems on 64 bit
arches.

Kurt

This was a bug in gfortran 4.3.0-1 and 4.3.0-2 (missing symlink
for libgfortran.so on alpha/hppa/amd64/i386). Please give-back
saods9 on amd64 and alpha and should build fine.

Bug#475180: Only supports 8bit PseudoColor displays

2008-04-09 Thread Daniel Richard G.
Package: xapple2
Version: 0.7.4-5
Severity: important

On a modern X11 setup with TrueColor/DirectColor displays, xapple2 refuses
to start, giving the following error:

$ xapple2
Sorry bud, xapple2 only supports 8bit PseudoColor displays.
Maybe you can fix this!

This renders the package all but unusable without severe reconfiguration of
the X display. (And if there is a viable way of running this under Xephyr,
I haven't been able to find it.)

Bug#475298: postman: Error in package description

2008-04-09 Thread Yann Lejeune
Package: postman
Version: 2.1-5
Severity: normal

In the package description it is said that postman support Vasque language
but it seems that Vasque language does not exist. Regarding the other languages
(spanish and catalan) it might be *Basque* language (French sud/west region).

I think it's a typo error as B and V letter are near...

regards.
