Bug#450815: warning: underquoted definition of AM_PATH_LIBART

2007-11-11 Thread stardeep25
Package: libart-dev
Version: 1.4.2-34
Severity: normal

When using aclocal I received the following warning:

/usr/share/aclocal/libart.m4:11: warning: underquoted definition of
AM_PATH_LIBART
/usr/share/aclocal/libart.m4:11: run info '(automake)Extending aclocal'
/usr/share/aclocal/libart.m4:11: or see
http://sources.redhat.com/automake/automake.html#Extending-aclocal

Changing this AC_DEFUN(AM_PATH_LIBART,
to AC_DEFUN([AM_PATH_LIBART],

in file
/usr/share/aclocal/libart.m4
seemed to fix the problem.

Bug#382656: fixed

2007-11-11 Thread Debian Archive Maintenance
We believe that the bug you reported is now fixed; the following
package(s) have been removed from unstable:

 mydns | 1:1.1.0-9 | source
mydns-mysql | 1:1.1.0-9 | alpha, amd64, arm, hppa, i386, ia64, m68k, mips,
mipsel, powerpc, s390, sparc
mydns-pgsql | 1:1.1.0-9 | alpha, amd64, arm, hppa, i386, ia64, m68k, mips,
mipsel, powerpc, s390, sparc

Note that the package(s) have simply been removed from the tag
database and may (or may not) still be in the pool; this is not a bug.
The package(s) will be physically removed automatically when no suite
references them (and in the case of source, when no binary references
it). Please also remember that the changes have been done on the
master archive (ftp-master.debian.org) and will not propagate to any
mirrors (ftp.debian.org included) until the next cron.daily run at the
earliest.

Packages are never removed from testing by hand. Testing tracks
unstable and will automatically remove packages which were removed
from unstable when removing them from testing causes no dependency
problems.

Bugs which have been reported against this package are not automatically
removed from the Bug Tracking System. Please check all open bugs and
close them or re-assign them to another package if the removed package
was superseded by another one.

Thank you for reporting the bug, which will now be closed. If you
have further comments please address them to [EMAIL PROTECTED]

This message was generated automatically; if you believe that there is
a problem with it please contact the archive administrators by mailing

I'm sorry, but I'm afraid that this bug report doesn't make any sense to
me. I understand that you have a set of packages that you're trying to
install, including slapd, which are not installing properly, but beyond
that I don't understand the sequence of events that led to this.

The error that you're seeing indicates that something fairly fundamental
is broken with your system, I think. It looks like the preinst scripts of
basically every package you're trying to install are failing. My guess is
that this is not a problem with any of the specific packages installed and
instead is something more fundamentally corrupted in your system.

Normally, there should be some error message when scripts fail, not just
the E: messages that you show above. Without some additional idea of
what's failing, I'm not sure how to help.

My guess is that this is a problem that you probably want to take to
[EMAIL PROTECTED] instead of the BTS, at least until you sort
out what happened to your system and how to recover.
