libapache-mod-auth-mysql override disparity

2007-06-19 Thread Debian Installer
There are disparities between your recently accepted upload and the
override file for the following file(s):

libapache2-mod-auth-mysql_4.3.9-4_amd64.deb: package says section is web,
override says net.

Either the package or the override file is incorrect. If you think
the override is correct and the package wrong please fix the package
so that this disparity is fixed in the next upload. If you feel the
override is incorrect then please reply to this mail and explain why.

[NB: this is an automatically generated mail; if you replied to one
like it before and have not received a response yet, please ignore
this mail. Your reply needs to be processed by a human and will be in

Package: libapache-mod-auth-mysql
Severity: serious
Version: 4.3.9-3

Hi there!

Due to the recent removal of apache (including it's accompanied
packages of apache-common, apache-dbg, apache-dev, apache-doc,
apache-perl and apache-ssl) and libapache-mod-perl your package most
propably isn't able to get installed or built anymore. These are the
problems your package currently has:

libapache-mod-auth-mysql (dependency): apache-common (>= 1.3.22-6)

Please either send the ftp team a removal request for your package if
it isn't able to work with apache2, or update it to build (only)
packages for apache2.

 Thanks in advance,

No, an expectation that the binary package containing the .la file depended
on libkpathsea4, which isn't necessarily true anyway.

$ for F in `grep-dctrl -FDepends -n -sFilename libkpathsea-dev \
/var/lib/apt/lists/_mirror*_sid_*_Packages`
do
dpkg -c /mirror/$F | grep -q '\.la$' && echo $F
done
pool/main/v/vflib3/vflib3-dev_3.6.13.dfsg-1_i386.deb

So, there we are.

Maybe a confusion between source and binary package names?

$ dpkg -S /usr/lib/libVFlib3.la
vflib3-dev: /usr/lib/libVFlib3.la

Might be a good idea to check other packages again... (If I was sure
how, I would have done that myself).

As discussed in #320363, Apache::MiniWiki doesn't work with Apache 2
(for example, it uses Apache::Constants, which is only available with
mod_perl 1.x). Since it's also been orphaned for 6 months, I think we
can remove it.

the package has been orphaned for quite a while (close to one Year). I think
all these are sufficient reasons to have the package removed from the archive.

oleo still depends on the old libxdb1c102 package, which is likely to
disappear from the archive soon; could you please rebuild against
libxdb-dev (>= 1.2.0-6) to pick up the new libxdb1 package?

Thanks!

BTW, I investigated what was up with the X frontend; the problem seems
to be that io-x11.c and xrdb.c both force NeedFunctionPrototypes to 0
for some reason, which leads to a lot of parse errors in the X
headers. Commenting out that setting from both files cures the
problem.

Hi, your package has been detected as generating a (for most of that
mass bug fill: private) python module/extension that may need an upgrade
to the new Python Policy[1].

A wiki page[2] explains what has to be done to upgrade your packages
to the new Policy. This bug may be a false positive, in that case,
please just close the bug.

This bug is part of a mass bug filling, and its severity will be
raised to serious when python will default to python2.4 (which should
happend on tomorrow - Wed 2nd of July). Please note that this bug (even
not being RC) falls under the 0-day NMU policy.

Special Notes

  * embedded interpreters: You don't *need* to do anything for your
package, though using XS/XB-Python-Version is much appreciated as it
helps tracking your package for binNMUs when python2.4 will become
default.

  * if you need help updating your package, you can either:
 - mail [EMAIL PROTECTED] ,
 - tag your bug + help ,
 - come on #debian-python/OFTC.

Package: adonthell
Severity: important

adonthell's package contains an old SDL_ttf source while it could just
build-depend on an existing Debian package (libsdl-ttf2.0-dev).

This makes bugs and security fixing harder because bugs in SDL_ttf will
also happen in adonthell.

So please consider build depending on libsdl-ttf2.0-dev.
