Bug#382591: lineakd doesn't recognise inputs when a dropdown menu is activated

It seems all keyboard events are inhibited when a menu is open, even
GNOME's own keyboard shortcuts (try Alt-F1 while a menu's open, or
mapping a multimedia key within GNOME Keyboard Shortcuts).  I'll
investigate further, but this is probably something lineakd cannot
change.
