I am raising the severity of this bug report to serious, such that the bug
will become RC and we have a chance of getting it fixed in etch.

The funcionalities of the jedstate package have been superseded by the
gdbmrecent module included in the jed-extra package. Besides that, the
jedstate package has been orphaned half a year ago and there is no sign of
upstream activity since ages.

Instead of simply requesting the removal of jedstate from the Debian
distribution, the Debian JED Group [1] will adopt the package and transform
it into a transition package to allow users migrate from jedstate to
gdbmrecent.

Hello,

I have installed wallpaper-tray on an AMD64 machine with testing.
The configuration menu does not work and the following output could
be seen, if wallpaper-tray was started from a shell:

(wp_tray:9752): libglade-WARNING **: could not find signal handler
'on_button_close_pressed'.

(wp_tray:9752): libglade-WARNING **: could not find signal handler
'on_button_apply_pressed'.

(wp_tray:9752): libglade-WARNING **: could not find signal handler
'on_button_add_dir_pressed'.

(wp_tray:9752): libglade-WARNING **: could not find signal handler
'on_button_rem_dir_pressed'.

To configure wallpaper-tray I use the gnome configuration editor.
So the programm is not completly useless.

Greetings
Juergen

Whenever I want to change the configuration I open the config dialog
by right clicking in the tray icon but when I click in the close
button the dialog does not close and I have to click in the close
window button of the window manager which cancels any changes made.

In the "Directory List" tab are two buttons "Add" and "Remove" those
buttons are broken too.

I was forced to modify the configuration by using gconftool.

Package: wallpaper-tray
Version: 0.4.6-3
Severity: normal

The config screen with accept rotate interval in minutes that are less than 1
and store them as 0 in the configuration.

When this happens the wallpaper is changed so rapidly, that it is impossible to
change the setting back again, as the notification area icon is not available
for selecting in time.

The workaround is to install gconf-editor, and reset the value to 1 or greater.
Either the program should reject low values or apply more priority to allowing
user interaction.
