Bug#356373: ipw2200-source: new 1.1.2 debian package available

2006-04-06 Thread Jeroen van Wolffelaar

This package is orphaned, and does not have a maintainer at the moment.
You cannot NMU it, you can do an QA upload though (basicly the same,
except you use regular maintainer version number), or you can choose to
adopt it.

See http://packages.qa.debian.org/i/ipw2200.html

Anyway, seems as if ipw2200 is now in the kernel... that this package is
really best of removed, and effort concentrated on fixing the remaining
bugs in the regular kernel sources instead.

ipw2200 is orphaned[1]; feel free to do a QA upload, or even adopt it[2].

(QA uploads are much like NMUs, except that they use maintainer versions
(i.e. 1.1.2-2), and aren't restricted to fixing reported bugs.)
