Both wmtop 0.7-1 (the version you originally reported this for) and
wmtop 0.84-4 (the current version) seem to handle nonexistent processes
fine -- I've tested them with a mock /proc directory -- so the problem
must be somewhere else.  Can you still reproduce it?

Bug#348697: Bug reproducible, faulty version is 7.0

Hi,

to be sure I downloaded rxvt-unicode versions 7.0 and 6.3, the latest
before 7.0, from the upstream site and compiled them with default
options. Version 6.3 works as expected, 7.0 shows the bug.

strace shows that app-defaults/URxvt is not being opened anymore, so the
reason its settings are not used anymore cannot be an error in the file.
