Package: gfax
Version: 0.4.2-8
Severity: wishlist

There is a new version of gfax available at the project site (ver. 0.5).
It includes a couple of nice features including a configuration wizard.

If this package is not being actively maintained I would be interested
in taking it over.

If you want to adopt the package then remove the QA group.

Bug#298194: [Ralf Stubner] Re: [Fwd: Old ConTeXt with new LModern fonts]

2006-02-06 Thread Frank Küster
This should be somewhere in a lmodern bug log. Since it's not about a
bug in the version in sid, but instead about how not to get a bug when
upgrading to the current upstream version, I'm sending it to the "new
upstream available" wishlist bug.

Regards, Frank

Attached. Should be directly useable with dh_link. Untested.

Some documentation (probably for NEWS.Debian) would be useful, too.
Outline:

* upstream changed some names of font metric files
* this breaks ConTeXt support in teTeX 3.0 and DVI files using the old
  names
* the installed links partly solve this, but (probably) produce
  'checksum error' messages
* please recreate DVI files using the old names
* the links will be removed in etch+1

Simple testcase fr ConTeXt support:

\usetypescript [all] [latin-modern] [ec]
\setupbodyfont[reset]
\setupbodyfont[cmr]
\starttext
Hello World!
\stoptext

| If you want to adopt the package then remove the QA group.

I'm not a DD, so I need a sponsor. David has been it for me in the
case of jwm package. Should I change Uploaders to point to him instead
of QA group?

I assumed that changing Maintainer was sufficient.
