Hi,

I think that no-site-file option is required when byte-compiling
sources. Because emacsen is called without the option when
byte-compiling, initialize files of unrelated packages are loaded
before byte-compiling sources, and their configurations may corrupt
byte-compile results.

Package: mmm-mode
Version: 0.4.7-1
Severity: important

I originaly fetched original source for local install on non-woody
box, then gave up and fetched .diff and .dsc:

[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ mv mmm-mode-0.4.7.tar.gz mmm-mode_0.4.7.orig.tar.gz
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ dpkg-source -x mmm-mode_0.4.7-1.dsc
dpkg-source: error: file mmm-mode_0.4.7.orig.tar.gz has size 191146 instead of
expected 191135

Given that the package is quite clean, I can't see a reason not to
have pristine source here.

Furthermore, it looks like RCS Ids in the source were changed. Could
this be a cvs-buildpackage problem ? Turning off keyword substitution
should be the default in such a beast...

The accept function is called with an uninitialised argument. Therefore,
it fails. This makes network play impossible. The fix is pretty easy.
I plan to take over maintainance of this package and fix the bug with
the next upload.

Reproduce:
- start 2 instances of the program. Select OK and Initiate network game in
  both
- set up one to be server, the other client (to localhost) and click OK
- The server gives an error, the client waits for the server.

Subject: gfpoken gives Gtk-CRITICAL error message
Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
MIME-Version: 1.0
Content-Type: TEXT/PLAIN; charset=US-ASCII

Package: gfpoken
Version: 0.25-1
Severity: wishlist

Upon execution (and sometimes at termination) gfpoken causes an error
message to be displayed:

Gtk-CRITICAL **: file gtkwindow.c: line 992 (gtk_window_realize): assertion
`!GTK_WIDGET_REALIZED (widget)' failed.

This error message is harmless, and the program functions properly. The
same code compiled against an older version of the GTK libraries does not
cause the error message to appear. The upstream author has been informed,
and is looking for a solution.
