Bug#318935: c2faxsend: config file at wrong location

2005-07-22 Thread Lionel Elie Mamane
severity 318935 normal

thanks

(severity normal because it touches only the stand-alone mode)

You are using capi4hylafax in stand-alone mode, right? That is without
hylafax? The thing is that hylafax normally copies the files from
/etc/hylafax/ to /var/spool/hylafax/etc/. In stand-alone mode, we have
to do it ourselves.

I'm adopting the package, and I'll fix that.

Bug#296015: capi4hylafax:

2005-07-22 Thread Lionel Elie Mamane
tags 296015 =moreinfo unreproducible
thanks

I cannot reproduce this from here. Sending faxes works out of the box
for me, from hylafax clients on other machines. What you propose
doesn't make sense to me:

You want to run
 /var/spool/hylafax/bin/* /usr/local/sbin
during installation. This would, on my system, execute:

 /var/spool/hylafax/bin/archive /var/spool/hylafax/bin/faxrcvd
/var/spool/hylafax/bin/faxrcvd.dpkg-old /var/spool/hylafax/bin/mkcover
/var/spool/hylafax/bin/notify /var/spool/hylafax/bin/notify-4.1
/var/spool/hylafax/bin/notify.awk /var/spool/hylafax/bin/pcl2fax
/var/spool/hylafax/bin/pdf2fax /var/spool/hylafax/bin/pdf2fax.gs
/var/spool/hylafax/bin/pollrcvd /var/spool/hylafax/bin/ps2fax
/var/spool/hylafax/bin/ps2fax.gs /var/spool/hylafax/bin/tiff2fax
/var/spool/hylafax/bin/tiff2pdf /var/spool/hylafax/bin/wedged /usr/local/sbin

which in non-sensical. Please explain your problem, and the suggested
solution, in more detail.

Thanks,

Hi,

A diff to fix the bug follows. Unfortunately, I can't build it on my
big-endian powerpc system, so I'll have to rely on someone else to
build and test it.

Regards,
Roger
