Bug#299365: cantus: Icon not referenced in menu file

2005-03-13 Thread tim hall
Package: cantus
Version: 1.07-1
Severity: minor

For the Debian package please could you reference the XPM from
/usr/lib/menu/cantus by adding this:

icon="/usr/share/pixmaps/cantus/cantus.xpm"

For more information, please refer to the updated Debian Policy:
http://www.debian.org/doc/packaging-manuals/menu.html/ch3.html#s3.7
This will ensure that your nice icon shows up in most menus.

Thanks for taking the time to deal with this, and thanks for all the effort you
have put in to maintaining great free software.

The dosemu maintainer has left the project since last year.

I've put a new dosemu-cvs and dosemu-freedos packages on mentors that fix
many outstanding bugs (including this one). Unfortunately they will
have to be built from source. I can't become a DD because nobody will
sign my GPG key, so someone else will have to make an upload to the main
archive once there is a new stable dosemu release.

Bug#299396: vkeybd: Menu Icon please

2005-03-13 Thread tim hall
Package: vkeybd
Version: 0.1.16-1
Severity: wishlist

I notice that your application lacks an icon. For the Debian package please
could you create a 32x32 pixel XPM in /usr/share/pixmaps/vkeybd.xpm and
reference it from /usr/lib/menu/vkeybd by adding this:

icon="/usr/share/pixmaps/vkeybd.xpm"

For more information, please refer to the updated Debian Policy:
http://www.debian.org/doc/packaging-manuals/menu.html/ch3.html#s3.7
This will ensure that your nice icon shows up in most menus.

If you're not graphically inclined, I'm prepared to create a suitable icon and
submit a menufile patch into the bargain. Please email me with your
requirements if this is the case.

Thanks for taking the time to deal with this, and thanks for all the effort you
have put in to maintaining great free software.
