Bug#289464: webmin-core: Scheduled Cron Jobs doesn't show nothing

2005-01-09 Thread feanor7
Package: webmin-core
Version: 0.94-7woody3
Severity: important

Login as root, click "System" tab and then click "Scheduled Cron Jobs" icon.
Nothing happens.
At first time I think it was not showing the debian default schedules, but I
created one for root and still not working.

Nothing appears under /var/log/webmin/webmin.log.

I did a fresh install yesterday using 3.0r4 Woody disk image.

Severity is set to important as with this bug cron jobs cannot be
managed under Webmin. So, this part of webmin-module have a useless
functionality.

gfslicer override disparity

2005-01-09 Thread Debian Installer
There are disparities between your recently accepted upload and the
override file for the following file(s):

gfslicer_1.5.4-4_i386.deb: package says section is utils, override says gnome.

Either the package or the override file is incorrect. If you think
the override is correct and the package wrong please fix the package
so that this disparity is fixed in the next upload. If you feel the
override is incorrect then please reply to this mail and explain why.

[NB: this is an automatically generated mail; if you replied to one
like it before and have not received a response yet, please ignore
this mail. Your reply needs to be processed by a human and will be in
due course, but until then the installer will send these automated
mails; sorry.]

Hello,

I changed laptop and I can't connect to my Siemens S55 anymore. gsmpb
works using /dev/ircomm0, so the IrDA hardware seems to work.

Here are the results using version 0.10.6-1:

viaza:~# obexftp -t /dev/ircomm0 -x
Do you really want to use IrDA via ttys?
Custom transport set to 'Siemens/Ericsson'

Here are the results using version 0.10.3+4rc3-2:

With gsmpb, however, it works:

Hello,

Thanks for packaging obexftp!

There is a problem with the manpage: at the beginning of OPTIONS, it
says:

The ordering of options is important. Every command will use the most
recent device set. Every file without command switch will apply to the
command given most recent. See EXAMPLES

however, there is no EXAMPLES section. Actually, some examples would be
nice, especially showing how to connect with the various means (IrDA,
BT, custom transport; also, I thought that you needed to always specify
-t when using IrDA, but obexftp complains).

Bug#251252: obexftp: Looks like the patch is applied but insufficiently

2005-01-09 Thread Olivier Berger
Package: obexftp
Version: 0.10.6-1
Followup-For: Bug #251252

Hi.

I had a look at the sources and it looks like the patch was mostly applied
(probably in the original source, or as a result of an alread included debian
patch) in the current 0.10.6-1 version.

Anyway, this won't work on my T610.

I had a look at the patch and the source noticed that if I apply the following
patch, it will work on getting .jpg files, but not .gif files... dunno exactly
what happens... anyway, this may help.

Package: t-gnus
Version: 6.15.8.00-1
Severity: serious

The t-gnus package has not been updated since 2002-11-25 (the
upstream is still active, T-gnus 6.17.1 revision 00 was released
on 2004-01-05), and there are lintian errors and other bugs in
debian/* files. I feel that this package is unsuitable for the
Debian release.

I got permission from the maintainer (Takuo KITAME), and tried to
take over the t-gnus package, but it was hard for me. I gave up.

The attached patch I made fixes some bugs, but the tasks remained.

I hope that Takuo or new maintainer will update this package.
(Please fix lintian errors, update to the new upstream version,
and audit and handle Debian patches, etc.)

Thanks,
