Bug#259924: xitalk: FTBFS with gcc-3.4: conflicting types for 'malloc'

2004-07-17 Thread Andreas Jochens
Package: xitalk
Severity: normal
Tags: patch

When building 'xitalk' with gcc-3.4 I get the following error:

gcc -I. -I.. -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -O2 -g-c -o regexp.o regexp.c
regexp.c: In function `nregcomp':

make[1]: Leaving directory `/xitalk-1.1.11'
make: *** [build-stamp] Error 2

With the attached patch 'xitalk' can be compiled using gcc-3.4.

Package: lirc
Severity: serious
Justification: no longer builds from source

Hi,

lirc still tries to build the svgalib debs on !i386. The attached patch
should change that so it truely only builds them on i386.

Its only tested on amd64 (where it stops the lirc-svga from building).
