If I build libnet-irc-ruby from source, the resulting package creates
a directory /irc and puts localize.rb in the root directory.
(Somehow, I don't think they really belong in /lib/irc/ and
/lib/localize.rb, either.)

  Hello. I have found two simple syntax errors in the postinst
  script that are triggered when devfs support is enabled. The script
  contains the lines:

# convert from good looking boolean template to what expected in the
scripts
if [ $devfs = 'true' ] ; then
devfs = 'yes'
else
devfs = 'no'
fi

  Of course, no space should be left around the equal sign in the
  assignations:

# convert from good looking boolean template to what expected in the
scripts
if [ $devfs = 'true' ] ; then
devfs='yes'
else
devfs='no'
fi

  With this fix the image instalation works OK.

  Thanks,
Ivan

Greetings,

When upgrading diskless-image-simple, postinst tries to run "devfs",
which doesn't exist (not even in the devfsd package).

This is probably a holdover from woody which needs to be updated for
sarge.

Thanks,

Any new maintainer should decide for himself what to do with this

No use in asking me about it, I don't now anything more than what is in
