libcurses-perl override disparity

2004-02-19 Thread Debian Installer
There are disparities between your recently accepted upload and the
override file for the following file(s):

libcurses-perl_1.06-8_i386.deb: package says section is libs, override says
perl.
libcurses-perl_1.06-8_i386.deb: package says priority is extra, override says

Either the package or the override file is incorrect. If you think
the override is correct and the package wrong please fix the package
so that this disparity is fixed in the next upload. If you feel the
override is incorrect then please reply to this mail and explain why.

http://mdcc.cx/pub/crm114/debian/crm114_20040212-BlameJetlag-auto.2-1_i386.deb
is there, along with the Debian source package. Debian packaging files
used are in CVS on cvs/sf/crm114/packages/debian .

Once manpage issues are resolved, I'd like to get Debian package
uploaded to the Debian archive (and close this RC bug).

There is no freeamp in testing/unstable (replaced by zinf).
For stable the dependency is correct, thus closing this bug.

Package: nedit
Version: 5.2-1.1
Severity: minor

When installing nedit for the first time, I got the following error message:

  Setting up nedit (5.2-1.1) ...
mv: cannot create symbolic link `/usr/man/man1/editor.1.gz': No such
file or directory
  update-alternatives: unable to make /usr/man/man1/editor.1.gz.dpkg-tmp
a symlink to /etc/alternatives/editor.1.gz: No such file or directory

None of this was fatal, but it should probably be fixed to avoid
confusing users.

Package: nedit
Version: 1:5.2-1.1
Severity: grave

-- System Information
Debian Release: 3.0
Kernel Version: Linux coltrane 2.4.16 #5 SMP Sun Dec 30 10:26:10 EST 2001 i686
unknown

Versions of the packages nedit depends on:
ii lesstif1 0.93.18-1 OSF/Motif implementation released under LGPL
ii libc6 2.2.4-7GNU C Library: Shared libraries and Timezone
ii xlibs 4.1.0-13pre14v X Window System client libraries

Nedit is crashing for me at least a couple of times a day (I am a heavy user).
I have been trying for some time to figure out what triggers the crash but
do not really have any good information on this.

Most of the crashes however occur when I do a jump to line (Control L).

Some extra info:

- I run nedit-nc often with many windows open.
- I use syntax highlighting.

I wish I had more.

Cheers,
Erik

ezmlm response

2004-02-19 Thread suse-oracle-return-
Hi! This is the ezmlm program. I'm managing the
[EMAIL PROTECTED] mailing list.

I'm working for my owner, who can be reached
at [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Here is a list of the command addresses supported:

Send mail to the following for info and FAQ for this list:
   <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
   <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>

To get messages 123 through 145 (a maximum of 100 per request), mail:
   <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>

To get an index with subject and author for messages 123-456, mail:
   <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>

To receive all messages with the same subject as message 12345,
send an empty message to:
   <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>

The messages do not really need to be empty, but I will ignore
their content. Only the ADDRESS you send to is important.

You can start a subscription for an alternate address,
for example "[EMAIL PROTECTED]", just add a hyphen and your
address (with '=' instead of '@') after the command word:
<[EMAIL PROTECTED]>

To stop subscription for this address, mail:
<[EMAIL PROTECTED]>

--- Administrative commands for the suse-oracle list ---

I can handle administrative requests automatically. Please
do not send them to the list address! Instead, send
your message to the correct command address:

For help and a description of available commands, send a message to:
   <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>

To subscribe to the list, send a message to:
   <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>

To remove your address from the list, just send a message to
the address in the ``List-Unsubscribe'' header of any list
message. If you haven't changed addresses since subscribing,
you can also send a message to:
   <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>

For addition or removal of addresses, I'll send a confirmation
message to that address. When you receive it, simply reply to it
to complete the transaction.

If you need to get in touch with the human owner of this list,
please send a message to:

<[EMAIL PROTECTED]>

Please include a FORWARDED list message with ALL HEADERS intact
to make it easier to help you.

--- Enclosed is a copy of the request I received.
