Alright, I just built mutt on a4000t[1] with libc6 2.3.1-15 installed, and
it still fails, though now it fails silently (ouch). manual.txt doesn't
get generated, but no errors are thrown (until it tries to install it, that
is).

Bug#172005: got a patch for this

2003-03-21 Thread Morgon Kanter
I've got a patch for this, it's really a minor thing. No real need to add an
AC_CHECK_HEADER to configure.in because isn't string.h supposed to be there?
(or so ISO C89 says).

Package: jade
Version: 1.2.1-28
Severity: normal

Hello Stephen,

I am not a sgml/jade expert, I just try to compile the menu package...
I have installed jade then removed it.
Now debiandoc2html menu.sgml fails with

yellowpig% make
debiandoc2html menu.sgml
nsgmls:/etc/sgml/jade.cat:8:8:E: cannot open
"/usr/share/sgml/jade/catalog" (Aucun fichier ou rpertoire de ce type)
make: *** [menu.html/index.html] Erreur 1

I enter
sudo update-catalog --remove --super jade
and now debiandoc2html works. I note that postinst use update-catalog
but prerm do not update-catalog --remove,
and I suspect this is the bug.

In this case the bug is important because it can break autobuild
(see bug #134489).

Thanks!
