siag override disparity

2002-12-28 Thread Debian Installer
There are disparities between your recently accepted upload and the
override file for the following file(s):

siag-common_3.5.3-1_all.deb: priority is overridden from extra to optional.
siagoffice-plugins_3.5.3-1_i386.deb: priority is overridden from extra to
optional.
siagoffice-common_3.5.3-1_all.deb: priority is overridden from extra to
optional.

Either the package or the override file is incorrect. If you think
the override is correct and the package wrong please fix the package
so that this disparity is fixed in the next upload. If you feel the
override is incorrect then please reply to this mail and explain why.

[NB: this is an automatically generated mail; if you replied to one
like it before and have not received a response yet, please ignore
this mail. Your reply needs to be processed by a human and will be in
due course, but until then the installer will send these automated
mails; sorry.]

Package: kernel-patch-kiobuf
Version: 2.2.18-3
Severity: serious

kernel-patch-kiobuf fails to build from source on i386, when doing a rebuild
inside chroot.

I am filing this bug to notify you that I failed to build your
package from source in the current sid distribution.
It is a serious problem that your source does not
build from source using the information provided in your control files,
and such a package should not be distributed in a stable Debian distribution.

This build was done using pbuilder package.

Build log follows:

Package: python2.2-ming
Version: 0.2a.cvs20020905-3
Followup-For: Bug #174365

This is related due to the way i built the packages for python2.1 and
python2.2 from the same source: i linked all the files in py_ext
directory from the py_ext2.2 (or whatever it was called) directory
and build there with the other python version.

So for fixing this bug it's probably enough to remove "-s" from the cp
command in debian/rules:
-# add symlinks
+# copy python source files
--cp -su `pwd`/py_ext/* py22_ext
+-cp -u `pwd`/py_ext/* py22_ext

The files should be correctly contained in python2.1-ming.

Package: fastforward-src

it would be nice to fix this on the next upload.

There are disparities between your recently installed upload and the
override file for the following file(s):

fastforward-src_0.51-5_all.deb: priority is overridden from optional to extra.
