Bug#135467: logtrend-mailbridge: Suggestion for improved description

2002-02-24 Thread Christian Kurz
Package: logtrend-mailbridge
Version: N/A; reported 2002-02-24
Severity: wishlist

Hi,

here's a suggestion for an improved description:

Logtrend agents which can't contact the storage server, can be
configured to send an e-Mail to a particular address.

The MTA for this mail address must be configured to pipe mails to the
address to this perl module, which then sends the information (alarms or
data) to the storage server.

Thanks for considering.

Christian

Hi,

here's a suggestion for improving the current description of this

2002-02-24 Thread Christian Kurz
Package: logtrend-complexalarm
Version: N/A; reported 2002-02-24
Severity: wishlist

Hi,

here's a suggestion for an improved description:

Log trend supports two different alarm types: One type is generated
by the agents when a services goes down. The other type is generated by
this module if a defined rule matches an current event.
.
This module allows to write equations based upon events. If an event
matches such a defined equation, this module will send out an alarm.

Thanks for considering.

Hi there!

I came across a spelling mistake inside the ispell German dictionary
(igerman) today:
The dictionary lists "Zwangskolleektivierung" as correct spelling -- I
think, it should be "Zwangskollektivierung".

Yours, Christoph

P.S.: The mistake possibly made also into the newGerman dictionary,
ingerman... couldn't check that...

When used in with files with an eight character name, but no extension
is specified, playmidi segfaults. When the extension or path is stated,
no SEGV.

When playmidi is not used in X, "playmidi -r midifile" works, but
"playmidi midifile" doesn't work, and "splaymidi midifile" segfaults.
When playmidi is used in X, "playmidi -r midifile" segfaults, "playmidi
midifile" doesn't work, and "xplaymidi midifile" does nothing.

All of these possibilities work when "midifile" is replaced with
"./midifile" or "midifile.mid".

vchkpw override disparity

2002-02-24 Thread Debian Installer
There are disparities between your recently accepted upload and the
override file for the following file(s):

vchkpw_3.1.2-9_i386.deb: priority is overridden from optional to extra.

Either the package or the override file is incorrect. If you think
the override is correct and the package wrong please fix the package
so that this disparity is fixed in the next upload. If you feel the
override is incorrect then please reply to this mail and explain why.

[NB: this is an automatically generated mail; if you replied to one
like it before and have not received a response yet, please ignore
this mail. Your reply needs to be processed by a human and will be in
due course, but until then the installer will send these automated
mails; sorry.]
