gv looses all page selections in the left bar when toggling
'antialiasing', 'ignore eof comments' or 'respect document structure'.
This is annoying when you have selected many pages for print already and
have to toggle antialiasing in order to speed up display speed.

voberon override disparity

2002-02-11 Thread Debian Installer
There are disparities between your recently installed upload and the
override file for the following file(s):

voberon-dev_19991220-2_i386.deb: priority is overridden from optional to extra.
voberon_19991220-2_i386.deb: section is overridden from libs to devel.

Either the package or the override file is incorrect. If you think
the override is correct and the package wrong please fix the package
so that this disparity is fixed in the next upload. If you feel the
override is incorrect then please reply to this mail and explain why.

[NB: this is an automatically generated mail; if you replied to one
like it before and have not received a response yet, please ignore
this mail. Your reply needs to be processed by a human and will be in
due course, but until then the installer will send these automated
mails; sorry.]

svgalib1 is linked against libc6. Downgrading to 1.4.1-2 fixes the
problem. For instance, with 1.4.3-2, things look like this:

$ dpkg -l svgalib1

/lib/ld-linux.so.2 => /lib/ld-linux.so.2 (0x8000)

Where, with 1.4.1-2, they look like this (as they should):

==
$ dpkg -l svgalib1

Package: gv
Version: 1:3.5.8-9

This is a tiny little display buglet.

When viewing a PostScript file with sufficient pages to make gv's "Table of
contents" list scroll, clicking (left button) on the lowest visible page
causes the list to scroll up by one (which is sensible), but the highlight
indicating which page the mouse is over stays on the page I clicked, rather
than moving onto the one the pointer is over. Moving the mouse causes gv to
notice what's happened.

Hi

Yesterday I've noticed the for my postscript files generated with
latex I can't see the last page with GV.

However ghostview & laser printer doesn't have this problem.
Also gs shows all pages.

For demonstration you could try my article located here:
