If these are removed, mxmaps should be too, since it is worthless w/o
them.
But I don't see these bugs you speak of; xmap-smotif is _statically_
linked against motif anyway. Did you confuse the bugs about xpm with
motif? The packages probably just need a "recompile" (there is no
source, but a rebuild will still fix the dependancies).
