I just wanted to add that for bepasty I was waiting a few days in case upstream did a release soon, but if it's needed I can also upload a new package with just the patch (and possibly a few other unrelated improvements, if I get the time to work on them, so it may happen even if it's not strictly needed). thanks for your work on this! -- Elena ``of Valhalla'' signature.asc Description: PGP signature
Bug#1061447: O: django-maintenancemode
Package: wnpp Severity: normal X-Debbugs-Cc: debian-python@lists.debian.org Control: affects -1 src:django-maintenancemode Orphaning the package on behalf of the Debian Python Team as the sole uploader (no one else on the team expressed interest in taking over and I no longer use the package). The package itself is in reasonable shape. Upstream is mostly dean, so if you take over this package, expect to have to do more than just package new upstream releases. Scott K

Me as maintainer of onionshare got notice about this discussion here by a sidechannel. It would have made things a lot easier to me to spot the issue that onionshare is not ready for flask 3.x, if you had open a bugreport against onionshare in December. I tried to package the upcoming version 2.6.1~dev1, where they switched to flask 3.x already, but unfortunatelly they switched from PySide2->PySide6 too. And PySide6 is not packaged yet for Debian :( Pushkar opened a bugreport yesterday and also summitted a MR. I merged it and summitted a fixed version on experimental to test against Flask 3.x: * https://bugs.debian.org/1061360 * https://salsa.debian.org/pkg-privacy-team/onionshare/-/merge_requests/3 Regards, hefee signature.asc Description: This is a digitally signed message part.
