Its a good idea use gbp. Its more easy to use.

Bug 903801: Python pika rc bug, expected close?

Any chance to close this bug before removal? I have some packages
depending on it.
If you don't have time to fix it, I can have a look and upload a fixed
package, should not be too difficult to fix.
