Package name question - pyada or python-pyada?

2001-06-22 Thread Harry Henry Gebel
Hi, I sent this to the list yesterday, but I never got a list copy and it
hasn't shown up on the archive so I'm posting it again. Sorry if anybody
gets two copies.

I have filed an ITP for pyAda which is an Ada wrapper to allow Python to be
embedded and extended with Ada. Since pyada contains no python code I was
going to name the package pyada instead of python-pyada, or am I wrong
about the usage of 'python-' in a package name.

pyAda is the well known name, I would use that.
