man mkisofs  (1.13 from woody):

HFS BOOT DRIVER
   It may be possible to make the hybrid  CD  bootable  on  a
   Macintosh.

The official powerpc Binary-1 CD should be bootable on those machines.

CD-image readiness

Hi!

Is the potato/ppc archive as currently on master okay for the CD images of
the first test cycle?

IIRC there were some problems with the uncomplete install of libc6.
Has this already been resolved?
