This sound likely. What is the output from lspci on the machine you experience
the crash?

Btw, why do you want to update discover? I thought most of its useful
features were available using the isenkram-cli package these days. Is there
something in discover you need that is missing in isenkram?

Btw, I would be happy to sponsor an discover update, or even do a maintainer

I do not have a particular interest in discover. I just saw the build
was breaking on the architecture I work with (ppc64el) and there were
patches available.

I was wondering if this was still an active package, since there wasn't
much activity on bts.

The patch already has been removed, because the upstream merged the patch.

Thanks for your advice. It's fixed.

And also some lintian errors in debian/copyright are fixed. But I can't fix
following a lintian error. Is it a issue on the side of lintian command?

hardware-package mappings, and tools like isenkram for proposing

I uploaded it, but:
 * you haven't documented the addition of
   ./etc/lacme/lacme-certs.conf.d/
 * please consider bumping dh compat level to 10
 * the changelog date of the previous upoad is from 2015-12-08; I get
that ship sailed already, but I invite you to bump the date more
often (ok, the sponsor should have probably caught it too...)

Thanks for your contribution to Debian!
