Bug#791697: RFS: wxmaxima/15.04.0-1

2015-07-08 Thread Gunter Königsmann

No need to open a new RFS bug report if your last one was mistakenly
closed by someone else; please reopen the old bug instead
(instructions at [1]). I've done that and merged the two bug reports
together already.

Thanks a lot!
Was not entirely sure if it was closed by an accident or if this was
common practice so I only made one half-hearted attempt to reopen the
bug. When this failed I hoped you would be kind enough to help me if I
created more chaos than intended - which you were. Thanks again for
this.

Your package looks ok, but I noticed that you reverted back to
recommending ttf-jsmath instead of fonts-jsmath. Is that intentional
(and why)?
The question I ask myself is: how did I do this? Normally I try to use
a workflow that prevents this kind of thing from happening.

Anyway:
- Corrected the dependency once again
- Did upload the corrected package to debian mentors
- and will press on the "send" button as soon as the package reappears
there.

Thanks a lot,
and kind regards,

 Gunter.

Please help me poking around in cmake

2015-07-08 Thread Andreas Tille
Hi,

I'm working on the Debian Med target hyphy that is using cmake and I
tried to link against Debian packaged sqlite. I found some promising
code to steal from and created a patch but somehow the -lsqlite3 option
is missing from the linker call. I guess its a simple flaw in my patch
and perhaps somebody could help me fixing this. The packaging is at

   svn://anonscm.debian.org/debian-med/trunk/packages/hyphy/trunk/

Thanks for any help

 Andreas (who wishes to find the time to dive a bit more into cmake)

Re: Fwd: Package cuba was rejected

2015-07-08 Thread Gert Wollny
Hi Igor,

the key you used to sign the package is not included in the Debian
maintainers keyring.

The key used to sign the package must be from a Debian maintainer who
has permission to upload the package, or a Debian developer.

For details see here:
http://mentors.debian.net/sponsors

hope that helps,
Gert

Is this a reason to re-assign this bug to Boost?

Re: Bug#771774: RFS: libmongo-client/0.1.8-2 [ITA]

2015-07-08 Thread Jörg Frings-Fürst
Hi,

for the ftbfs bug I have upload a new version of
libmongo-client/0.1.8-2[1].

My changes:

libmongo-client (0.1.8-2) unstable; urgency=medium

  * New Maintainer (Closes: #770801).
  * debian/contol:
- Set myself as maintainer.
- Bump Standards-Version to 3.9.6 (no changes required).
- Change Vcs-* to collab-maint since old Vcs is not longer available.
  * debian/copyright:
- Add missing license for tests/tools/*.
- Add myself to the list of authors for debian/*.
- Change upstream email address to alger...@madhouse-project.org.
- Change source to github.
  * debian/rules:
- Remove useless override_dh_builddeb: xz is now standard.
- Remove oldstyle debhelper parts.
- Add override_dh_makeshlibs to build symbols on every build.
- Add missing LDFLAGS.
  * debian/watch:
- Change source to github.
  * Remove debian/source/options because xz is now standard.
  * New debian/patches/0100-gcc5.patch:
- Cheery-picked upstream commit 7ccdf08e81aa51a1b54eb4c574e6e4fc5f2e2d54
  to make the library fit for gcc-5 (Closes: #777959).

it worked in my case because I ran it without patch, it was my fault. Just
run:
fakeroot debian/rules binary

but I must admit that i don't understand why no applied the patch ...

I sponsored this upload for the GCC 5 build failure but I won't be
able to sponsor in the future, so you still need to find one.

Yes, sounds strange. On the other hand I never run the above manually
only debuild or pdebuild. Seems to be safe.

I tried this and even at another target_link_libraries command but it
remains failing.

I decided for the later and this builds now so I regard the problem
solved. I do not see any bad side effects in this specific case.

Thanks for your help

  Andreas.

  Dear mentors,

  I am looking for a sponsor for my package "libmongo-client"

   Package name: libmongo-client
   Version : 0.1.8-2
   Upstream Author : Gergely Nagy
   URL : https://github.com/algernon/libmongo-client
   License : Apache-2.0, GPL-2+
   Section : libs

  It builds those binary packages:

libmongo-client-dev - Development files for the alternate C driver for
MongoDB
libmongo-client-doc - Documentation for the alternate C driver for MongoDB
libmongo-client0 - Alternate C driver for the MongoDB document-oriented
datastore
libmongo-client0-dbg - Alternate C driver for MongoDB (debugging symbols)

  To access further information about this package, please visit the following
URL:

  http://mentors.debian.net/package/libmongo-client

  Alternatively, one can download the package with dget using this command:

dget -x
http://mentors.debian.net/debian/pool/main/libm/libmongo-client/libmongo-client_0.1.8-2.dsc

  Changes since the last upload:

  * New Maintainer (Closes: #770801).
  * debian/contol:
- Set myself as maintainer.
- Bump Standards-Version to 3.9.6 (no changes required).
- Change Vcs-* to collab-maint since old Vcs is not longer available.
  * debian/copyright:
- Add missing license for tests/tools/*.
- Add myself to the list of authors for debian/*.
  * debian/rules:
- Remove useless override_dh_builddeb: xz is now standard.
- Remove oldstyle debhelper parts.
  * debian/watch:
- disabled because upstream repository contains debian tarballs.

  Regards,
   Jörg Frings-Fürst

It's already reported as #790351 ;-)

So I'm tempted to close this bug since I do not see a good reason
to stop the propagation of the latest version to testing which has
closed the original bug.

Would you agree about this?

Kind regards

Andreas.

For solarpowerlog I did just downgrade it to important, but I had to
fix boost.m4 for gcc5, which only solves a part of the FTBFS. The
others are caused by the ABI breakage in the libs (boost and two
others)
IMHO if mira needs no fix its your side, there's no bug.

IMHO as long as pGCC-5 is not the default this shouldn't be RC,
especially as it is at the moment mostly the new C++11 ABI stuff that
breaks things everyhere, especially libraries. At least if looks like
from my perspective.

But just my 2c...

Trouble with Alioth user repo: can't be cloned

2015-07-08 Thread lumin
Hi mentors,

I encountered this trouble when making user's personal repo
on alioth.d.o according to the link below.
[https://wiki.debian.org/Alioth/Git]

I've set up 2 repos:
http://anonscm.debian.org/cgit/users/cdluminate-guest/caffe.git
http://anonscm.debian.org/cgit/users/cdluminate-guest/test.git
Now I can browse them with cgit, but when I was about to clone them
it just failed.

$ git clone
https://anonscm.debian.org/git/users/cdluminate-guest/caffe.git
Cloning into 'caffe'...
fatal: repository
'https://anonscm.debian.org/git/users/cdluminate-guest/caffe.git/' not
found

I checked the repo location, then
 * do chmod -R a+xr REPO
 * check git-daemon-export-ok
 * check hook/post-update
but it still fails to clone with the same error report.

I'm confused.

Thanks.

And you are right to be confused. It was a bug on our (alioth) side.

I fixed it and cloning is now possible.

Alex
