Re: Bug#721951: RFS: ifmetric/0.3-3 [RC][ITA] -- Set routing metrics for a network interface

2013-09-22 Thread Michael Shuler
Hi mentors,

I bumped the severity of #514197 to grave due to the package being
unusable and this RFS to important. I would like to get ifmetric fixed
in unstable so I can work on including the #514197 fix in a stable
update. Please, let me know if there are any questions/concerns!

Bug#722432: RFS: totem-plugin-arte/3.2.0-1

2013-09-22 Thread Nicolas Delvaux
Hi Tobias,

There was a new upstream version of totem-plugin-arte (3.2.1) which
includes a big fix, so I uploaded a new package to mentors.

I also fixed what you suggested.

The gmime bug was solved, so now the package build in pbuilder :-)

Cheers,
Nicolas

Package: sponsorship-requests
Severity: normal

Hello all,

I would appreciate a sponsor for an ITA of "ifmetric"

   Package name: ifmetric
   Version : 0.3-3
   Upstream Author : Lennart Poettering
   URL : http://0pointer.de/lennart/projects/ifmetric/
   License : GPL-2+
   Section : net

It builds this binary package:

   ifmetric - Set routing metrics for a network interface

After waiting a while for a reply on #514197, I was recently able to
contact the previous maintainer at a personal email address, and he was
happy to have me adopt ifmetric. I asked for a confirmation reply to
the ITA I created, #721769, but have not seen one, as of yet. (There
was no O: filed, although he though he had filed one.)

ifmetric has been basically non-functional since #514197 and I have been
maintaining my own patched copy since that time. For the ITA, I have
fully updated all the packaging to current standards and lintian
--pedantic goodness.

Here's the mentors URL:
   http://mentors.debian.net/package/ifmetric

Here's the dget command:
   dget -x
http://mentors.debian.net/debian/pool/main/i/ifmetric/ifmetric_0.3-3.dsc

And here are the collab-maint repository URLs (pristine-tar,
git-buildpackage ready):
   git://anonscm.debian.org/collab-maint/ifmetric.git
   git+ssh://git.debian.org/git/collab-maint/ifmetric.git
   http://anonscm.debian.org/git/collab-maint/ifmetric.git

Changelog:
ifmetric (0.3-3) unstable; urgency=low

  * New maintainer.  Closes: #721769
  * Update to standards-version 3.9.4.
  * Update to compat 9 for hardening build flags.
  * Remove empty debian/{pre,post}{inst,rm} files.
  * Add debian/source/format - 3.0 (quilt).
  * Add Vcs-* and Homepage fields to debian/control.
  * Update debian/copyright to machine readable format.
  * Switch debian/copyright license reference from GPL symlink to GPL-2.
  * Move debian/ifmetric.ifup to debian/ifmetric.if-up.
  * Add debian/watch file.
  * Switch from cdbs to dh.
  * Add debian/source/{options,patch-header} for git packaging.
  * Patch src/ifmetric.c for s/Recieved/Received/ typo.
  * Add debian/upstream_changelog from homepage News section.
  * Add patch to fix "NETLINK: Packet too small or truncated!" error.
Thanks to Benedek László for the patch. Closes: #514197, LP: #896584

Bug#723991: RFS: mapserver/6.4.0-2

2013-09-22 Thread Bas Couwenberg
Package: sponsorship-requests
Followup-For: Bug #723991

Dear mentors,

The packagee for mapserver/6.4.0-2 on mentors has been updated again,
this time to fix a FTBFS on i386 caused by a missing build dependency on
libperl-dev.

Changes since the last upload:

* Also include mapserver-config.h and mapserver-version.h in dev package.
  Required to build MapCache with MapServer support.
* Use php5enmod and php5dismod instead of installing the ini directly.
  (closes: #667771)
* Add patch to export mapserver cmake package for external projects.
* Add versioned Breaks/Replaces for dev package.
* Drop transitional packages and Breaks/Replaces for libmapserver.
  (closes: #723979)
* Drop unused lintian-overrides for php5-mapscript.
* Build-Depend on libperl-dev so cmake can find PerlLibs.
  (closes: #724259)

 Sebastiaan Couwenberg

Could you upload my package to the archive? The source is available at

I believe it's good enough to be uploaded. I'm glad that I can
