Isn't it exactly what needs-internet restriction was invented for?

May be I'm to naive here but I used it exactly for those cases and
it worked.

Kind regards
   Andreas.

[Advent bug squashing] newer bmtk version, and other niceties

2023-12-20 Thread Étienne Mollier
Hi all,

After some head scratching, bmtk is finally available in its new
upstream version 1.0.8 in Debian sid. I took that opportunity
to resolve two cases of double build failure (source and binary)
that were #1043949 and #1049671, which were a bit more involved
than usual.

Also for today:

  * #1059139: a release critical failure to build from source
affecting shasta;
  * #1059092: a request to add support for loong64 architecture
in gmap, that was an opportunity to fix manual pages I broke
in my previous upload.

And with this, I will probably wind down my activity for the
remaining of the year

Have a nice day, :)

Re: Last call for any other location than Berlin (Was: Any suggestions for next Debian Med sprint (in person meeting)?)

2023-12-20 Thread Andreas Tille
Hi Sasccha,

did you managed to reserve a room for our sprint? It would be nice if
we know in advance to arrange travel for those who do not come from
close by.

Kind regards and have a nice CHristmas
   Andreas.
