Post Wheezy release remarks
Hi, since Wheezy is released now also the Debian Med team deserves a big thanks for its great work to make Debian the best distribution for medical care and biological research. If you look at the amount of packages that migrated from unstable to testing recently (look here[1] for the string "MIGRATED to testing") you know that we kept on with our speed to include relevant applications even at freeze time. If somebody might imagine some specific Debian Med internal release goals for Jessie this should probably be discussed now. Thanks to all team members for their great work Andreas. Hi Olivier, On Tue, May 07, 2013 at 02:52:22PM +0200, Olivier Sallou wrote: > We can also start move from experimental to unstable for those packages > sent to unstable during the freeze... Sure. To check what packages are affected you can simply have a look at the tasks pages[1] and check out for yellow buttons "Newer upstream!". The pages are rendered in a way that "experimental" uploads are not regarded as uploaded - so these packages are marked as well. When I have worked down my backlog from vac I'll start having an eye on these yellow buttons again but everybody is free to work on this as well. Kind regards Andreas. Re: sponsor upload aghermann-0.9.0
Hi Yaroslav, Indeed, gcc is being a bit too inconsistent here. Upstream is aware of the problem now and has a fix, but I'd rather delay re-posting aghermann for upload until I get to a real X server for final QA, which will happen next Monday or thereabout. Sorry for the noise. Re: MIA upload
Hi Gert, On Fri, Apr 26, 2013 at 05:09:54PM +0200, Gert Wollny wrote: > I've added two patches to the upload, a regression fix and some change a > colleague of mine needed in some experimental code. > > If I interpreted the messaged correctly the other version is not yet > uploaded to ftp-master, but to avoid any complications if it happens > while I'm writing this I tagged the debian/2.0.9-1 version before adding > the patches and I did a "dch -i" which changed the 2.0.9-1 changelog > entry to 2.0.9-2, so I guess that this is not really correct. I reverted this to 2.0.9-1 because I do not see any reason for bumping to 2.0.9-2 as long as there is no 2.0.9-1 inside the archive. I have no idea whether this answers your question and whether you want me to sponsor the current status in Git. Please ping me explicitly about sponsering. Kind regards and thanks for your work on mia Andreas. -- http://fam-tille.de -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-med-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble?
