(E)LTS report for October 2020

2020-11-01 Thread Holger Levsen
hi,

in October 2020 I spent 7h managing (E)LTS contributors:

- dispatching work hours for LTS and ELTS
- preparing and post-processing the monthly team meeting
- preparing the monthly Freexian blog post published on raphaelhertzog.com
- mail and irc communication, incl.
  - semi-automatic unclaim packages
  - too many claimed packages
  - missing DLAs on www.d.o
  - issues of individual contributors
  - bean counting
  - survey
- merging some merge requests for webwml.git

Re: Bug#973544: www.debian.org: LTS Security Advisories RSS links to wrong locations

2020-11-01 Thread Laura Arjona Reina
Hi Nobuhiro Ban,

Thanks for reporting this issue.

The build of those RSS feeds is done via the get_recent_list() function
in the recent_list template:

https://salsa.debian.org/webmaster-team/webwml/-/blob/master/english/template/debian/recent_list.wml

However, that function is not prepared for security advisories in other
path different than www.debian.org/security.

In any case, I see that other security lists now call to a different
(improved) template:

https://salsa.debian.org/webmaster-team/webwml/-/blob/master/english/template/debian/recent_list_security.wml

But I couldn't find the correct way to call the function
get_recent_security_list_rdf so it creates the RSS feed.

CC'ing the debian-lts mailing list for the case they can have a look.

Kind regards,

(semi-)automatic unclaim of packages with more than 2 weeks of inactivity (and missing DLAs on www.do)

2020-11-01 Thread Holger Levsen
hi,

today, one package was unclaimed for LTS:

- python3.5 (Thorsten Alteholz)

and one for ELTS:

- phpmyadmin (Emilio)

Then, noone claimed 4 packages or more. And also no DLA has been reserved but
not yet published.

Have a great week!
