fwupd_0.7.4-2+deb9u1 (was: "Re: Debian 9 (Stretch) LTS: archive side should be done")

I loaded the release.debian@packages.debian.org "pu" usertag page
on the BTS while triaging earlier today. However, this page on the BTS
is pretty slow and large that the page only partly rendered for me
that particular time. (You know, with some of the HTML off to the side
or similar. A refresh usually fixes it.)

Anyway, when I searched for fwupd in this truncated page, it returned
no results. As a consequence, I just uploaded fwupd 0.7.4-2+deb9u1
which has an open pu bug aimed at oldstable, #964588.

However, as I understand it, this pu bug has not been confirmed yet
and this would actually update the version in oldstable to the
0.8.x branch anyway, i.e. larger than my 0.7.4-2+deb9u1. I therefore
conclude that this is fine *this* time.

Please let me know if this is incorrect and, if so, what I can do
to remedy it.

Regards,

Please note that there's a gosa package in opu for the upcoming point release.
So it'd be good to wait with this until after the point release to avoid any
conflicts.

Cheers,
Emilio

Yeah, the 0.8 update will shortly supersede your 0.7.4-2+deb9u1 update.

I've just added notes about pending stretch-pu updates for the following
packages to dla-needed.txt:
- gosa (Chris Lamb)
- nginx (Sylvain Beucler)
- rails (Sylvain Beucler)
- wpa (Abhijith PA)

I would recommend anyone adding packages to dla-needed.txt this or next
week searches for the package name at [1] and adds a note if there is a
pending update for stretch.

This was coordinated already (cf. "rails update" thread), I clarified
the note.
