I just uploaded packages of imgseek [0] and ksplashml [1] for Sid to my 
private APT repository. Feel free to try them. ;) Any feedback will be

I have now uploaded sources for ksplashml together with a new revision.
There are no build depends since I don't care about that for my own small
packages. *evil grin* The imgseek package was built from the upstream
source package [0], which is debianized, with some minor tweaks for Sid.
However, I seem to have erased the directory containing imgseek but I'll
maybe redo the work and upload the source for that too.

Try to run fc-cache as root and see if that makes any difference.
