As for me wmsystemtray and stalonetray looks quite ugly. I would recommend to try lxpanel. It may be even used instead of plasma panel. Personally I use plasma panel + lxpanel [1][2] with own plasma theme [3]. Unfortunately they are currently unusable due to too high CPU usage (about 30-50% of each CPU core). Hope this helps. Fonts in Plasma 5
Hi! I've installed Plasma 5 (on an USB stick), and am trying to make those tiny fonts bigger. I've configured the fonts in System Settings -> Application Appearance -> Fonts. I can fill in the bigger font sizes, and it works. However, when I log out and log in again, about half of the fonts are back to the previous, very small, setting. Anybody who has this working? Hi Sami, Kdeconnect in Debian is only for KDE4 and doesn't work with Plasma5/KF5. There is a git tree (https://anonscm.debian.org/cgit/pkg-kde/kde-extras/kdeconnect-plasma.git/) for Plasma 5 but that hasn't been uploaded to Debian yet. I'm building Kdeconnect directly from the KDE git tree (http://quickgit.kde.org/?p=kdeconnect-kde.git) and it's working on my Debian Plasma 5. Can you share with us how you install it. I've compiled it with cmake, make & make install but I get the message "Process org.kde.kdeconnect received signal 6" Thanks, Michal -- signature mail Altair 2012/04/11 Michal Bulik | IT Manager SEA T +33 1.41.33.09.55 | F +33 1.41.33.09.91 | M +33 6.16.37.11.50 mbu...@altair.com | altair.com Altair | Innovation Intelligence ®

My main system is still KDE4. I've found the settings for the virtual desktops there. It's in System Settings -> Workspace Behavior. I do *not* have the "Workspace Behavior" configuration module in the system settings of my new System, which runs Plasma 5. So the virtual desktops issue is solved.
