That's how I upgraded then. I let aptitude delete k3b and amarok to upgrade (or hold) the rest, then reinstalled both with amarok. This is choice 1 of the problem solver, choice 4 did not work. This may be due to new and buggy code (and yes, this is aptitude in testing). apt-get itself never failed. HS -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Spellchecker accepts too many incorrectly spelled words
Something which bugs me immensely about kde 3.4 is the spell checker. In 3.3 when you were typing an email or filling in a web form. Automatic spellchecking would turn itself off after you typed in about 10 misspelled words. In kde 3.4 this has changed so now it will accept a lot more.. perhaps 50 words. So I should learn how to spell, right? Well the problem is that I sometimes type in danish and sometimes in english, and there is no easy way to switch between the two dictionaries. So I always use the danish dictionary. But then when I write something in english the whole screen gets filled with red letters and after a while my eyes EXPLODE! Is there any way to fix this? If not, I think this is a bug. Where should I report it? On what component? KMail 1.8.3 "Inline-OpenPGP"
Hello I have this problem. If I send an email with the KMail 1.8.3 (KDE 3.4.3) and use the "Inline-OpenPGP"-function it doesn't work, because the email will be always signed with "OpenPGP/MIME". And here I thought it was a bug. :-) Is there a way to configure the number of errors before it gives up on me? I often am quoting previous posts by someone else that have a dozen errors in them already, so I don't get any spellchecking assistance on my own post, which is badness. -- Larry Garfield AIM: LOLG42 [EMAIL PROTECTED] ICQ: 6817012 "If nature has made any one thing less susceptible than all others of exclusive property, it is the action of the thinking power called an idea, which an individual may exclusively possess as long as he keeps it to himself; but the moment it is divulged, it forces itself into the possession of every one, and the receiver cannot dispossess himself of it." -- Thomas Jefferson

That helps for emails, although I think the big drop down box is very ugly and takes up too much space. But what about webforms? (Slashdot, everything2, wikipedia?) And kword? In any case I don't think this works well. Anders -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
