And if you want I can mail you libsensors-1debian1 package. But because of this unstable is called unstable, this is supposed to happen from time to time. Just to follow up to my previous question: I got a little help from the folks on the #debian-kde IRC channel and they suggested backing up some packages. I started doing that, but it was messy, so, since I am running under VMWare, I went back to a previous, working snapshot, and started upgrading packages one at a time The culprit is xserver-xfree86. Nothing KDE/QT involved at all -- though it does just seem to affect QT controls. Now I'm thinking maybe it's an xserver-xfree86 / VMWare interaction. Can someone suggest where I might ask about what changed between xserver-xfree86 Versions 4.2.1-10 and 4.2.1-11? I'm already following up with VMWare, but I'd like to tackle it from both sides. Need your suggestions for a superkaramba-data package
Hi, First, I like to say, that I have juste uploaded superkaramba 0.32b to sid. I hope you will enjoy using it. Secondly, I intend to do a superkaramba-data package. The aim of this package is to contain superkaramba themes which are directly usable for debian users. But on kde-look.org, there are approximately 140 superkaramba themes. To my mind, it is too much ! That's why I am asking you to say me what themes you are using, and you want to be included in Debian. Actually after looking at that liquid weather theme someone else mentioned it seems they list the license on the webpage, just make certain it is also included with the tarball otherwise add email from author stating it is under whichever license. In the case where its not listed in the tarball it would be good to advise them to add a license to it as well on their next upload. :) Chris
SuperKaramba debs
I've run into a small problem while trying to install the SuperKaramba debs. I'm running XFree 4.3 (Daniel's packages), and libxcursor-dev (which was fetched when I apt-getted superkaramba) contains /usr/X11R6/include/X11/Xcursor/Xcursor.h, which is also in xlibs-dev. The error message: Unpacking libxcursor-dev (from .../libxcursor-dev_1.0.2-2_i386.deb) ... dpkg: error processing /var/cache/apt/archives/libxcursor-dev_1.0.2-2_i386.deb (--unpack): trying to overwrite `/usr/X11R6/include/X11/Xcursor/Xcursor.h', which is also in package xlibs-dev Errors were encountered while processing: /var/cache/apt/archives/libxcursor-dev_1.0.2-2_i386.deb E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1) Suggestions? :Peter -- Oh what a tangled web they weave who try a new word to conceive!

Just dpkg --purge the errant packages(s) and continue.
