http://kde3.geniussystems.net seems down
I'm using (at least I'm trying to..) this apt source: deb http://kde3.geniussystems.net ./ for kde binaries, apt-get update resolves that url but does not go on downloading Packages informations. Is it dow at the moment? Check out an kde deb and look at the debian/rules file for how to do this. In the short term, though, you can fix this behaviour by doing make install kde_htmldir=/usr/share/doc/kde/HTML instead of just make install. Or you can just copy the debiandirs file out of kdelibs4-dev and add this to your rules (if packaging): -include debian/debiandirs Chris -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Koffice?
Has anyone done any work with koffice1.2? Last I heard it was due several weekends ago. I'd compile it outright but I've gotten a little to used to apt... Corey -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Re: problem installing kdevelop-generated index.docbook
Thanks! Those both did the trick. I'm preparing a .deb file, but will also add a comment to the INSTALL file to help users install from a tarball. More kpilot problems
-BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE- Hash: SHA1 OK, I finally, after months of tinkering, got kpilot to talk to my m505. Now how to I get it to snag my Palm's address book and put the entries into kaddressbook? So far, when I hit "Hotsync," nothing comes into kaddressbook. I have similar problems with the knotes conduit and the To-Do & calendar korganizer conduits. Not working, nothing swaps back & forth. -BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE- Version: GnuPG v1.0.7 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQE9G5NIaI9tShILUQARAkNrAJ49IM9pl+wem+YMaWI4IixbEJdCtACg89K5 Gc7H+VNlll6Tubp5+X8Oyb4= =JtHx -END PGP SIGNATURE- -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". checkboxes in KonquerorKDE3
-BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE- Hash: SHA1 Hi, since I've upgraded to KDE3 the checkboxes and radioboxes in Konqueror behave a little strange. The widgets don't change their look when I click on them, only their values. For example: I have a question with five radioboxes to give an answer, and whichever radiobox I click into, there would be no radiobox selected. But if I click the OK button, the answer would be posted. Why is this? Thanks in advance Gabor ps.: it's a default KDE3 installation, without any options changed, etc. - -- Gabor Gludovatz <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> - Phone: +36 (20) 9 109 129 http://www.sopron.hu/~ggabor/ * http://gludo.sopron.hu/gpg.txt GPG fingerprint: 8D0C 6AE8 5875 751E 5122-1DAE 4990 1A4E BC2E C8B9 -BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE- Version: GnuPG v1.0.6 (GNU/Linux) Comment: For info see http://www.gnupg.org iD8DBQE9G6OiSZAaTrwuyLkRAmZyAKCQJykyzGd6lxbx5m2Od3TIWRUb7gCeJBZ/ aTonEtsfMCr9gEb0excDT1M= =DGDe -END PGP SIGNATURE- -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Recommendations for cd-burner programs?
Would anyone care to recommend a good KDE cd-burner program ? I went to apps.kde.com and was a little overwhelmed at the choices. Seems as though there are several highly rated programs--is there any that stands above the crowd? :Peter -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble?
