Well, Konqueror seem to have other problems with the page.

Yes, yes, I know that. The sdk that I have is precisely from
Blackdown's tar.bz2 file (I thought that I said that in the
other e-mail).

I only mentioned the deb package because it would be quite
convenient, but given the current situation, I am installing
whatever works now to polish it later. But newer debs would be
quite convenient. :-)

Anyway, the situation persists and Mozilla dies whenever I try
to access
with Linux under powerpc (I'm using sid on this ibook).

On the other hand, using the debian package j2sdk1.3 1.3.1-1
from Blackdown's repository on x86 with Mozilla 0.9.9 (from
woody), the page loads fine, but as soon as I fill the fields
with my information and send them to the site, mozilla hangs,
the screen is not refreshed anymore and the CPU usage goes to
100% (it seems that the process eating all the CPU is java_vm,
but I'm not actually sure).

So, any help with all this situation is more than welcome.

Thanks in advance, Roger...

Trouble with Tomcat 4.0.3 and mod_webapp

2002-06-10 Thread Marino

Since nobody seems to have packaged and contributed mod_webapp for Debian
yet, I downloaded mod_webapp.so from jakarta and placed it with all the
other modules on my apache server but it doesn't seem to work - i get ...

Reloading apache modules[Thu Jun 6 07:49:24 2002] [warn] Loaded DSO
/usr/lib/apache/1.3/mod_webapp.so uses plain Apache 1.3 API, t)

Does anyone know if there's a simple way around this? It's kinda frustrating
:)
