debconf PO translations for the package emdebian-tools
Dear Debian I18N people, I would like to know if some of you would be interested in translating emdebian-tools. emdebian-tools already includes cs.po fr.po ja.po nl.po pt.po sv.po. So do not translate it to these languages (the translators will be contacted separately). languagetranslated fuzzy untranslated - pt 4 2 cs 4 2 fr 4 2 sv 4 2 nl 4 2 ja 4 2 Please send the updated file to me, or submit it as a wishlist bug against emdebian-tools in Debian. The deadline for receiving the updated translation is 10-Apr-07. Interim releases will be made during this time to the Emdebian repository, the deadline is for upload of the 0.2.0 release to Debian. Users update from Emdebian as part of the cross-building setup. Emdebian releases cannot be delayed for i18n reasons, I expect at least two releases within the deadline. package PO translations for the experimental quicklist
Dear Debian I18N people, I would like to know if some of you would be interested in translating the gtk2 port of quicklist for Debian experimental. There are some issues left to resolve in experimental but I do not expect these to add or modify the translatable strings (although one or two strings may be dropped). Once these issues are resolved, the port will migrate to unstable, removing one more package dependent on gtk1. The gtk2 port of quicklist has no existing translations but 174 translatable strings. Please send the updated file to me, or submit it as a wishlist bug against quicklist. There is no particular deadline for this request. QuickList development has to compete with my other Debian and upstream work and tends to be sporadic. I will be uploading quicklist (0.8.6+0.9.0pre2-1) soon but I'm not concerned about translations for that version, more for the first release to unstable. Besides, all those wishlist bugs will remind me to make time to fix the experimental quicklist. :-) If you are feeling brave, feel free to install quicklist from experimental to see how the program has changed. Also email me if the POT file could do with more comments or explanations of string usage. (There is little point looking at the old gtk1 quicklist when translating strings for the gtk2 port.) If you have read so far, please find the POT file in attachment.
