Bug#440489: raising severity

2007-09-13 Thread Török Edvin
severity 440489 normal
thanks

When installing the gcc package, gcc-4.2 is now the default.
So having the 4.1 manpages installed when installing gcc-doc is confusing.

[Bug c++/33414] [4.3 regression] segfault

Still no luck there to reproduce segfault. These were my steps.

1. Configured latest SVN gcc in _clean_ build dir (on i686-pc-linux-gnu) using
../gcc-svn/trunk/configure --with-mpfr=/usr/local --enable-languages=c,c++
--with-march=i686 --with-tune=i586

2. ~/gcc-build-cpp/gcc/cc1plus -march=i686 -O2 -fPIC -g
libkformulalib_la.all_cc.ii

No problems here...

Ouch, that should be --with-arch=i686. Retrying...

Even with that change, I'm not able to reproduce the failure. Am I missing
something here?

Hmm.
It's already a long time since I lasted looked into gcc-doc thing.
I see, now gcc-4.2-doc is provided by gcc-4.2.
So separate non-free package for documentation is no longer needed?
If so, maybe gcc-doc-defaults should be integrated into gcc-defaults?
