Bug#378434: gcc-defaults should not provide a /usr/bin/gcc link

2006-07-16 Thread Daniel 'NebuchadnezzaR' Dehennin
Package: gcc-defaults
Severity: wishlist

Hello,

Is it possible for gcc-defaults to not provide /usr/bin/gcc & co. but
using the alternatives ?

Personnally I want /usr/bin/gcc to point to /usr/bin/colorgcc and it's
remove each time I upgrade gcc.

Regards.

thanks

gcc-4.1 in unstable (in a chroot) works with all -O options I discussed in the
report, so this problem seems fixed to me. I don't really need this fix in
4.0, so I am closing the bug.

Package:gcc-4.0
Version:4.0.3-3
Serverity:wishlist

The following patch files have a same path to create
gcc/testsuite/gcc.c-torture/compile/switch-1.c.

debian/patches/pr-26557.dpatch
debian/patches/svn-updates.dpath

I think pr-26557.dpatch will not be needed.

Run udevmonitor and plug in your scanner, to check that udev gets the
event. There's no reason it shouldn't get the event...

[Bug c++/28225] [4.0/4.1/4.2 regression] segfault in type_dependent_expression_p

2006-07-16 Thread mmitchel at gcc dot gnu dot org

--- Comment #4 from mmitchel at gcc dot gnu dot org 2006-07-17 03:00
---
I don't think this code is invalid. To instantiate operator(), size_traits
would have to be complete, but that should not prevent the template
declaration.
