I hope to give a talk about FAI there. I also like to do a demo of
FAI, so I need a table and maybe two PC's and one LCD. I'm not sure,
which parts I will bring myself. I also have a big poster. Can
someone pick me up in cologne? Then I could bring some brand new PC's too.

Hardware for Debian booth at LWE
Hi guys, currently (from http://wiki.debian.org/LinuxWorldExpoFrankfurt) we have on one PC for our booth at LWE in Frankfurt. Does anybody else brings some hardware? Debian booth
I like to show the newest FAI version from CD and the big FAI poster. Same as last year. All I need is a computer/notebook and a TFT/monitor. I will try to bring all on my own, but I'm not sure if I will mangage it. Hi, ich koennte auch einen Vortrag halten. Voll automatische Installation mit Debian. Ich plane sowieso im naechsten Jahr auf der ein oder anderen Gelegenheit mein Software Paket FAI - fully automatic installation - zu praesentieren. Ich wuerde auch gerne auf der Cebit die autom. Installation live zeigen. Ich denke es is ganz nett innerhalb von weingen Minuten einen Rechner voellig neu zu installieren. Bis dahin habe ich ein Notebook mit kompletten mirror fertig, sodass man das auch gut auf einem kleinen Debian Stand zeigen kann. Bis dahin werde ich noch einiges hacken und das Pakete anfang des Jahres endlich mal uploaden. FAI homepage: www.informatik.uni-koeln.de/fai Ich habe auch schon mal einen Workshop ueber FAI gehlaten. Cebit ?
Kann jemand mal eine Zusammenfassung geben, in welcher Form Debian auf der Cebit vertreten ist. Es gab ein paar Mails, aber etwas Konkretes sehe ich nicht. Braunschweiger Linuxtage 2-4 Mai
Hi Leute, gibt es noch etwas fuer Braunschweig zu planen ? Bisher gibt es nur spaerliche Informationen, was auf den Debian Stand gemacht werden soll, wer genau welche Hardware (Computer un Plakate) mitbringt. Haben wir dort einen Internet Anschluss ? Ich koennte meine voll automatische Debian Installation dort zeigen, wenn es gewuenscht ist. My invited BOF about FAI was changed to a regular talk, since another talk was canceled. It will be at Thursday 11:30-12:15. I can also say some words in the Debian workshop about the fully automatic installation if wanted. I bring a huge A0 poster (preview http://www.informatik.uni-koeln.de/fai/poster_a4.ps). Should FAI be presented at the Debian booth or should it be a separate booth ? I bring a 8 ports 10/100 port switch, a notebook (with a debian mirror on it).
