I have not managed to solve this issue in a satisfactory manner and am too embarrassed to show what I came up with to people who actually know how to write perl :D Thus I created bug#758191 to keep track of this issue. cheers, josch -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-dpkg-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe". Thanks! I had your mail marked in my mailbox to come back to it, but a bug report is good too, to avoid losing track of it. I'll try to fix this for the upcoming or next release. dpkg-source --commit fails to find local changes
I'm unable to get dpkg-source to see that I have changed files in a python source package format 3.0 (quilt): dpkg-source: info: there are no local changes to record No matter what I seem to do inside the json-schema-validator package, dpkg refuses to spot the change, even renaming the package in setup.py or changing the .py files. I get no warning on building and I have to create the patch manually. Is this a regression or is there something different about the json-schema-validator and versiontools packages? This happened with 1.17.11 and 1.17.12. -- Neil Williams = http://www.linux.codehelp.co.uk/ signature.asc Description: PGP signature

This looks like it might be a regression yes, I'm checking the obvious culprits now. Thanks, Guillem -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-dpkg-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
