This looks great, but considering that maybe half or more of the updates are 
not really changes but just result from shuffling files from one iso to 
another, is it possible to do something like this:

for ii in 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15#yes it is 15 now
do
# loop mount my $iith iso
for jj in 1 ... 15
do
jigdo-lite ...
# scan only the mounted iso
# do not fetch from the internet
done
# unmount the $iith iso
done

# now another loop to update from the net.
...

Any chance?

The version of jigdo-lite that only scans files and does not fetch things
from the net is called "jigdo-file", i.e. the lower-level tool that
jigdo-lite relies on. ;-)

jigdo-file make-image --image sarge-i386-1.iso \
  --template sarge-i386-1.template /mnt/someiso

Repeat this command for each mounted .iso. After that, start jigdo-lite.

Debian Sarge Netinst

Hi,
 
I have a little question about the debian sarge
netinst.
First I have to say that this is a great project.
Letting people download their own operation system and software while they are
installing is great.
 
But I still have one question; can I install debian
sarge netinst with a wireless networkcard?
The wireless networkcard has the wifi
standard.

Hmm, I *still* recommend you try the "testing" installer at 
http://www.debian.org/devel/debian-installer/

This is actually a release candidate for the forthcoming stable Debian 
release, and seems to be very stable.

If you install the "testing" release now, you can easily upgrade to the
"stable" release once that is out.

I did that some time ago, it was after the beta1 of d-i was out, during a
public talk about Debian where I showed, among other things, how one would
be able to install sarge.

What I did at that time was to boot from a USB flash memory device and then
install over a wireless network card.

I remember there were some little problems at that time, but I could
install, I suppose things should be better now. The key, though, would be to
have a supported wireless card ;-)
