Which vendors did you write to, and did you really not get any response at all? Unfortunately, there's little we can do about unreliable CD vendors, except for removing their info from the Debian web pages after repeated problems. Debain jigdo "stable" points to 3.0r0
Hi, I think the page: http://www.debian.org/CD/jigdo-cd/ links the stable distro to the older 3.0r0, not the stable 3.0r1. The specific area is: "Available images Official jigdo files for the "stable" release on CD: USA mirror, European mirror" where 'USA Mirror" points the r0. Hope this helps! woody for alpha?
Hi, On 30 Nov. 2002 I decided to go for Debian and I still am unable to obtain it. Has it been "ported" to the Alpha architecture? I paid the asking price offered by two of the listed "vendors" and have yet to receive a response to my numerous emails and my PayPal payment for the same. Bottom line: I care nothing about anything other than somehow obtaining the Debian unix on CD's. Thank you, Martin
