Problem with Source1 NON-US

2002-12-31 Thread Thomas Bliesener
When I download the image of woody-src-1_NONUS I get the following
error message:

Sources.gz was downloaded and then it tries to download it again or what
does happen?

I tried another mirror with the same result. All the other
images I could download without any trouble. What's the problem here?

Debian CD downloads

2002-12-31 Thread Daniel A. Matysiak
On one of your pages mentioning programs to use for downloading Debian ISO
images, I thought it might be useful to mention the win32 port of wget,
which can be found at the URL below. (I refer to
http://www.debian.org/CD/http-ftp/ above).

Actually, that version of wget for windows hasn't been updated for quite
some time. Here's a better alternative if you just want wget:
http://space.tin.it/computer/hherold/

That said, I usually need to feel more at home when I'm in ms windows,
so I use cygwin to get a whole set of applications:
http://www.cygwin.com
or if you're in a hurry and want the installer directly:
http://cygwin.com/setup.exe [167KiB]

Anything to help get you hands on those debian isos :)
