Hi there!

 Sorry for me jumping in, but I guess it might be of value for you.

 That's nice, and I understand that. On the other hand it doesn't seem
to have been the first time that this happend. Maybe you should
reconsider your cooperation with USPS if they are in some respect
unrelyable and (what's IMHO even worse) untraceable.

 Maybe it's worth thinking about that.

Guten Tag Alfie!

The US Postal Service (USPS) does allow for package tracking, I think this
is a red herring thrown out by Tux to cover their mistakes.

Of course, you have to ask for it and it does require extra book keeping on
your part, but they do allow for package tracking.

JIGDO

2002-09-26 Thread David E. Cox

What URL am I supposed to use with the jigdo-lite script? I used

http://us.cdimage.debian.org/jigdo-area/current/jigdo/i386/  as well as
some others that I found in the mirrors.jigdo file. They all got errors:

jigdo: http://us.cdimage.debian.org/jigdo-area/current/jigdo/i386/

Downloading .jigdo file
--22:51:28--
http://us.cdimage.debian.org:80/jigdo-area/current/jigdo/i386/
   => `index.html'
Connecting to us.cdimage.debian.org:80... connected!
HTTP request sent, awaiting response... 200 OK
Length: unspecified [text/html]

0K ->

22:51:29 (4.43 KB/s) - `index.html' saved [3319]

File `i386' does not exist!

Re: JIGDO

2002-09-26 Thread David Mccowan

load those links into your browser and then choose a specific jigdo
file.

then run jigdo-lite using the link of the specific jigdo file that you
need / want

jigdo should then connect and start the download process
