Install problems
I wonder if you could help me with my problem, A friend of mine downloaded the Debian GNU/Linux 3.0 r 0 "Woody" official source CD's 1 thru 7 and the NON US CD for me, but I could not install them the way it supposed to (start up the computer with the CD1 as a bootcd) I do think that it ist a bootable CD So I've got two questions: Should the CD be bootable (so is the CD i've got a wrong download) or if not where do I get a bootCD Awaiting your answer Jos van der Plicht

Bonjours J'ai regarder la FAQ demander de l'aide sur les NEWS mai perssonne ne ma repondu . le problème est le suivant . il semblerai que le controleur scsi n'est pas reconnu donc le disque dure non plus Je boot avec les driver sur une disquette qui contien les driver aspi pour dos la ditribution est celle telecharge sur un site http fichier iso graver Debian GNU/Linux 3.0 r0 "Woody" - Official i386 Binary-1 CD configuration controleur scsi :adaptec 29160 ultra 160 / id 7 valeur par defautsur la carte scsi ce trouve :1 cd plextor ultraplex40 id 41 graveur plexwriter8/20 id 5DD de 4,5 Gig ID 1 les ID ne peuve pas etre changé !
