Files missing for CD#1, sid, ftp.fsn.hu
Hi, last night I tried downloading sid with jigdo, from ftp.fsn.hu. I'm using jigdo the first time and it's a very cool tool. Downloading CD 2,3,4 worked well (5,6,7 are on their way), but CD 1 was missing 12 files (strange URL's, like /var/apt/cache - seems the jigdo file from ftp.fsn.hu is broken). Ok - the docs say: download missing files by hand, use rsync or similar stuff. Downloading of the 12 files shurely wouldn't be a problem, even without rsync, but where should I put them and how tell I jigdo that they are in place so it can add them to the iso? Just copy them to the tmp/ directory and start jigdo-lite again? Thanks, Joern -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]

No need to say sorry ;) I'm looking forward to retry tomorrow, but nevertheless and just to understand jigdo better (and yes, also I'm somewhat impatient ;): what would be the best way for me to fix this actually by hand? You can delete those lines, but I'm not sure how this affects the image creation because of the template file. Does this mean, that the correspondent files will be missing in the ISO? I think this would be unusable then, because some of the packages sounded somewhat important (like base-passwd, if I recall correctly... ;) The doc stated downloading missing packages by hand is the solution, but does not tell how to add these to the ISO. Or do I miss something? Regards, Joern -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]

My Debian mirror was messed up by some other program, which caused unintentionally appeared files. Those aren't needed for correct operation. Once you have downloaded the missing files manually, copying them to the tmp/ directory may have worked, but the recommended method is to supply a directory containing them (and only them) to the jigdo-lite "Files to scan" prompt. Hm, can anybody confirm that the isos are actually there? The site really refuses all connections, not just attempts to download the iso files... My Woody covers
Hi, I've finished my version of woody cd covers. They are based on the work of one set found in your site. You can find them at: http://web.interpuntonet.it/fmf/debian.html All the images are 1:1 scaled at 300dpi. Put a link if you want. Re: My Woody covers
> All the images are 1:1 scaled at 300dpi. It's nice, but I think, that the "Debian" text at the bottom of covers is too blured - are you using SVG debian logo? You should use SVG, or EPS (rasterized for 300dpi) for good effects :-) Please correct my english, if it's wrong - I'm from Poland -- Mati ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) Sounds like a Windows problem, try calling Microsoft support -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". And yes, we're mirroring only the i386 images. Jigdo-easy question - improvement request
Dear sir, I like your tool Jigdo-easy. It helps me to download and install Debian. But I feel inconvenience for it always downloads total contents of the official CD image. I dose not need many things in one CD, but need something in other CDs. So I want Jigdo-easy could re-arrange the contents of the CD set, and only download things I needed. As a word, could you add a function to allow me customize the packages before it begins to download? That is to say, Jigdo-easy allow me create one my personal debian CD. I think its current version suitable for official CD maker vendors. Second question, my Jigdo-easy session was stopped, when I restart it again, it could not resume the last session. Could it supports restore session now? I used Jigdo-easy version 2.1. regards, Legend Lee _ ÓëÁª»úµÄÅóÓѽøÐн»Á÷£¬ÇëʹÓà MSN Messenger: http://messenger.microsoft.com/cn -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
