Mirror problems
The current mirror at ftp.debian.org fails mirrorcheck when building potato CDs. The problem is with locales (several) where the the package name does not match the name in Packages. Cure, run dpkg-scanpackages? I think there is a similar problem with the source. The packages are in ../main/admin. Removed Packages and Sources and checked with debian.ord a few minutes ago. Still the same turkey with mirrorcheck, ie, File dists/potato/main/binary-i386/admin/locales_2.1.3-13.deb can't be found ... File dists/potato/main/binary-all/admin/locale-ja_18.deb can't be found ... File dists/potato/main/binary-all/admin/locale-zh_0.9+0.05-5.deb can't be found These files have diferent version numbers in Packages. Because of this, maybe it's better not to provide updated cd images of r1. Could you direct me to some reference? I don't know -- you'd have to ask debian-cd. In general, it should be listed as part of the source for the debian-cd package or CVS area or whatever. -- .Adam Di [EMAIL PROTECTED]http://www.onShore.com/> -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Ok, I fixed it, using the scripts and invokation methods from webwml. Mail regarding debian-cd is sent to the the debian-cd list. Mail regarding CVSROOT is sent to me. It's usable. Well, as I said, I did enable a modified log_accum; I hope it doesn't have the security problems which caused us to disable this before. > Maybe we don't want it going direct to -boot. Right now it is. We can change that but it would require creation of a new list. I think having peopel setup filtering on their own is probably more appropriate. -- .Adam Di [EMAIL PROTECTED]http://www.onShore.com/> -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
